Lead Belly deserves a memorial guitar, as he was the undisputed folk and blues king of the twelve string guitar. A man who was sentenced to life for murder but, allegedly sang his way out of prison. Twice! If you ever listened to “Goodnight Irene” or “The Midnight Special”, then you know his work.
